2009 Painting and Poetry Competition Winners

The winners of our 3rd Annual Event have been chosen, and all have been personally phoned and advised of their achievements.  The winning poems and paintings were displayed in Macduff Town Hall (26th to 28th June 2009), and the winners received their prizes at 6.30pm Friday 26th June 2009.

2009 Painting Competition Winners.

Our 2009 painting competition adult category winner is Lindsay Ross from Forres, her winning painting titled 'A Homecoming Dreamsong' will be featured on the cover of our proposed poetry anthology.  You can see the proposed cover in 'Future BMHA Tiltles'.  Click here http://www.webhistorian.co.uk/pages/index.php?id=95

Lindsay's winning painting earned her £100 plus a gold trophy, so congratulations to Lindsay.

Our <18 winner was Hannah Corbett of Mintlaw Primary School with her painting titled 'Highland Dancer'.  Hannah's winning painting earned her a £50 Argos voucher plus a gold trophy, well done Hannah.
