Macduff WW1 Roll of Honour is the second edition of an original book published in 1919 by George Forbes Dickson from Macduff. The new book published to commemorate the 90th anniversary of WW1 includes the names of ten men who died who were not in the original book, colour photographs of medals complete with information, and a story originally written by skipper George McKay titled 'Taken Prisoner'. Coasting - Poetry Anthology.
In 2007 the Banffshire Maritime Heritage Association run its first ever poetry competition with a maritime / coastal theme. Entries were received from locals and as far away as Tasmania in Australia. Adult winner was James Johnston from Portsoy and the uner 18's winner was Violet Macdonald from Tasmania. An anthology of the entries was published in 2007 titled 'Coasting'.
